My main role as a communication intern includes writing blogs, creating social media content, and editing newsletters, among other activities. From my intern duties, I quickly became aware of the role satellite imagery has played throughout SkyTruth’s history.
Internships are a great way to get a taste of the professional world and prepare for a future career. Personally, I was drawn to SkyTruth because I was inspired by their mission to give accessible, free data and satellite imagery to all. I also saw SkyTruth as a wonderful opportunity for professional growth. But starting an internship can be scary, exciting, intimidating, and rewarding.
