This utility can be used to create a Skytruth Alert RSS feed that is limited to a specific location. This allows you to get updates only for incidents that occur close to some area that you care about - like your back yard, your favorite beach, or maybe grandma's house.
Step 1: Select your Area of Interest
Zoom the map view so that is only shows the area that you are interested in. A few seconds after you stop moving the map, it will update to show only the recent alerts that are in the area you have selected.
Step 2: Copy RSS Feed URL
Copy the RSS Feed URL and paste it into your favorite RSS news reader. You can also click on the map iconL to display the feed in Google Maps
Step 3: Follow the Feed
You customized alert feed is updated daily, so check your news reader for the most recent updates every day. If you want to follow more than one area, just create another feed.
